We have a Therapeutic Program that ministers to Special Needs Children, Vocational Program for High School Students with Autism, Seasonal Events like Our Christmas at the Stables and Inspirational Farm Tours.
This ministry is self-funded and it’s hard sometimes to do as much as we would like to do. If you feel led to help us, we can always use feed for the animals and all kinds of materials for keeping the farm running. The Upstate Equestrian Ministry is 501(c)3 with the IRS. Donations are tax deductible. Please use the Donate Button below-
Our Donation page has more info. We would like to provide inspiration, fellowship and encouragement for all interested people. Partner with us today!
In the South, it is not uncommon for someone to ask, “Where do you go to church?” What the real question is, “Are you a Christian?” Beating around the bush is a popular form of communication in the South. These days when people’s rights and moral laws are so confused, it’s hard to ask certain questions without feeling some hesitation.
In the hope that there is an interest in the Upstate South Carolina, UEMF was formed in March 1998.
We have as wide a variety of activities as we have a wide variety of disciplines of horseback riding styles. Our members are all born again believers in Christ, whether Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian ... Our diversity is our strength!
If you would like more information about this exciting ministry, check the Face book page- the link is on the home page of this website. Keep in touch and remember God loves you so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God. John1:12. To find out more about Jesus, how to ask Him into your life, and have the peace and abundant life that God has already planned for you-don't delay, call us right away.
If you already know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, live like it and remember this- you may be the only Bible that some people will ever see.
A Note From the President, Debbie Webster
For most of us, our horse activities are what we do for exercise, as well as relaxation. Whether we are trying to train a young horse, working a finished horse we want to show, or just riding for fun, horses take up a majority of our time. Sometimes we spend a lot of our time alone with our horses and would welcome a time to spend with others. Sometimes our social time begins when we get off of work and head to the barn.
Generally speaking, horse people are outgoing people that like to be outdoors, active and have a good time. Having a good time means different things to different people. As Christians, we are supposed to set a little higher standard for our lives and activities. I hope our group can help realize this higher standard.
Our Ministry is growing into more than just an Equestrian ministry, but a farm and dairy full of wonderful animals. It’s such an opportunity to reach young people with the animal element that draws them in and captures their attention. What better object lesson than God’s own creations? Analogies with horses, sheep, goats, cows and chickens- the Bible comes alive while the visitors soak up the sunshine, touch the animals and learn by seeing examples of Intelligent Design and Natural Law.
